Doran Grant on Urban Meyer's take on Ohio State's roster being the best of the decade - "We'll see"

Doran Grant has seen a lot of great Ohio State teams over the years.

The former Buckeye cornerback was a member of the 2002 national championship team and played in the NFL for nine seasons.

So when Urban Meyer says that this year's Ohio State roster is the best he's ever had, Grant knows a thing or two about talented Buckeye teams.

Grant is not ready to say that this year's team is the best of the decade.

He wants to see how the Buckeyes perform on the field first.

"We'll see," Grant said. "They've got a lot of talent, but they've got to go out there and prove it."

Grant is impressed with the Buckeyes' depth.

He said that Ohio State has two or three players who could start at every position.

"They're loaded," Grant said. "They've got a lot of guys who can make plays."

Grant is also impressed with the Buckeyes' coaching staff.

He said that Meyer and his staff have done a great job of recruiting and developing players.

"They've got a great system in place," Grant said. "They know how to get the most out of their players."

Grant is excited to see what this year's Ohio State team can accomplish.

He said that the Buckeyes have the potential to be one of the best teams in the country.

"They've got all the pieces," Grant said. "Now they just have to go out there and play to their potential."
